No problems here, it works fine. And I've had it since Christmas.

What's the problem BTW?

Every other horizontal line is ~5% darker.  This creates a sort of interlacing effect.  Apple hasn't made the cause known; it could be an incorrectly calculated refresh rate, or a bad panel design.  (The Powerbook G4 uses a rare 3:2 aspect ratio of which few panels exist.)

Yup. There's an app that does this, it's called Backlight. The screensaver is Marine Aquarium.

Actually, it runs quite well, even with lots of apps open. Now, I wouldn't do it while scanning with Photoshop or playing Doom 3, but I turn it on occasionally when I want to impress people or when I want to hear the bubbles and see fish moving while typing.

I really hate fish as pets cuz they always fucking die within 2 days of buying them ... except for Siamese fighting fish (Betta) ... they have lungs, live in swamps, and thus don't need special water conditions ... they live up to 2 years before they die of old age ... and they look cool too :thumbup:

My computer was turning into a big mess, and I was formatting the partitions, so I decided to install Solaris 10. Unlike my attempts with previous versions, I finally got the internet to work with this one.

I liked the old purple background better than the current default one though, so I decided to cut the pattern out of a screenshot taken from Google image. I measured and cut the mosaic to be exactly like the original.



BTW, I have a huge screen resolution.

I like that sidebar, the gkrellm, so I installed it and the skin. Is there a way to make it act like a panel? So that windows maximize by it, not over or under it. That would be awesome.
