Martha Stewart and Bill Gates
« on: 5 June 2003, 17:23 »
I was watching the news around 7AM and they had a little story on Ms. Stewart current troubles. What got me was what they described her new position to be. She was still a member of the board, but she was now the "Chief Creative Officer". My response after hearing this:

   WTF?

Is this what people with large corporations do when they screw up? Resign from CEO and take some obscure title in their company? And would it work this time? Martha ain't no Microsoft.

Martha Stewart is an idiot. Dumb senile old bitch thinks she can lie and cheat, but as she's finding out now, she was wrong.

Hey in Australia when a CEO get's retired we just lay off a couple of thousand workers so that the CEO can get a massive golden handshake.
Yesterday it worked
Today it is not working

No this has happened about five times this year.  And that's just the ones we know about.     Not of course to forget the good old "We're recording massive profit's!  Invest in our stock!  Oh yeah you worker types - we can't afford you anymore."
