that's a very pro-MS article there. the author and their sources seem to be saying...

"DRM hasn't gone over because MS hasn't done it. now that billy gates and friends have make their half-ass attempt at it, everything is gonna pan out now and those chumps, the population of Earth can rest assured that corporate america OWNS THEM"

DRM itself is no threat to anyone.  Corps have been selling stuff with it, and people have not been buying.  M$ will only waste money on R&D making DRM.
