Yes, the spanish tripod (tripod.lycos.es) offer PHP and MySQL, though I don't know about the italian one...
Here's a little list of hosts I know:
http://www.l33t.caSeems good.

http://www.xug.netThe offer PHP5 (?????) and MySQL, but browsing their site was really slooooow, so I think they aren't worth it (or maybe that was justa a bad day...)
http://www.dk3.com50mb, SSI, PHP, Perl and MySQL. They don't allow running message boards.
Unfortunately, it apears that they don't accept new members (I tried few times, but it allways says a "subscriptions closed, come next week")
http://free.prohosting.com (or was it .net?)
50mb, SSI and Perl.
Yes, I know, no PHP, but they offer a decent service anyway.
http://www.iespana.es (spanish)
50mb and PHP. And a weird useless database...
(I think that in the french version of their service they explain which database they use, but I don't read french :/ )
http://tripod.lycos.eshttp://www.tripod.co.ukhttp://www.lycos.frhttp://www.multimania.comDiferent country-specific reincarnations of Tripod. Only sure about the spanish (50mb+php+mysql), but I think all of them give you PHP+MySQL (I've seen phpNuke running on lycos.fr and multimania)
http://www.hosted4free.dkhttp://www.host.skAs before, some people I know have phpNuke or phpBB running there, but I only speak english and spanish, so can't give any better info.
Is that enough?
