Why does Microsoft allow Apple to exist?

any companys tahts in the top 50 list probably isn't there since nice old microsoft allows them to continue, especially if their products put theirs to shame.

Microsoft would like to think that they are letting them exist. However the truth is Apple are there whether M$ like it or not.

Thinking that M$ have allowed anyone company to exist is well.... how M$ presumes to think and there's little truth in that statement.
