It's mostly kids who taped the movie in the theatre. I'll pirate it when the special uber-1337 DVD edition comes out

just watched the movie.  the problem with it was that many of the facts were present in his book dude, where's my country.  so it got boring @ a couple parts.  me getting bored might have also had something to do with me being intensly tired as well, but who's noticing.  so: good movie.

PS. the reason i post this is because the version i watched was on of those ones, recorded, (preety good quality too, except for the part where one asshole stood up infront of the camera and wouldnt sit the fuck down).  couldnt find a theater that played it @ a decent time and couldnt wait for it's wider release.  but i will go see it in the theater once i get the chance.  i wouldnt want to rob the old man outta any money.

I'm going to watch it this weekend (maybe earlier), but I gotta ask: am I the only person here that doesn't really like Moore all that much?

I think he's a good filmmaker, but he's always using that talent to push his own political views.  Hence, I don't like him very much.

Haven't managed to watch the movie yet.

I'm gonna wait till the DVD.

As for him "pushing his political views."  I'd rather him push a movie of what he thinks than a regime that pushes what it thinks by the end of a gun.     ->(war in iraq)    :D

Why does every single post of yours on the Microsoft Eradication Society forum end with something about Iraq?

God forbid anyone should express their views through art. No doubt if he were conservative you wouldn't have a problem with him.

Not that I think he's necessarily that great, and this film sounds like a bit of a letdown. A Counterpunch article even goes so far as to label it "conservative".

Interesting article. And the webmaster of Whatreallyhappened, Michael Rivero (who is a Republican!) also argues that Moore's movie doesn't go far enough, and fails to denounce the neoconservatives and their agendas.

I'm downloading the movie right now, so I'll soon find out whether the criticism is valid or not.

Well, Michael Rivero has some ideas which are hard to believe, and looks fictive. Michael Moore makes non-fiction.

I have to admit that he may be wrong on some points, but a lot of what he says makes sense. And many people would argue your latter claim.

Can you maybe host it for download if you have that much webspace? I've been trying it on p2p for a week but having trouble. I'd go see it in theaters, but the bastards aren't playing it around here.
