didn't i say that i can't, the machine with the access is my dads, and since he can access the web from a cable modem and windows supports ICS thats how it should be and keeps asking me who is paying for it when i want to set up a freesco system, or buy a wireless ap, i don't think he gets the fact that he could go anywhere in the house with his laptop and not be chained to *MY* 32 port hub. some people are pretty pucking dum, soem people just don't get the fact that he could get quicker access and less crashes. besides, he is dead set in thinking that windows is better, for all the ghey reasons that have been said over and over on these forums. and the ones i can refute in 10 seconds. i had to bitch and moan just to get him to go over to an ethernet network that *i* paid for and built in my room and to two other rooms in the house. i was using this shitty usb phonline device from netgear. 300 k throughput total now with the ethernet i have about 4 systems working, but agian, some people just don't get it. i think that the only reason he likes ICS is that there is a feature to shut off all networking. you can do that with a router. sheesh, even my technicaly uninclined neighbor's had the brains to buy a phuking router when they got cable modem service. /*even though i had to configure it for them */ and when i asked to setup a router he said "well it can be turned off right, its a waste to keep this stuff running 24/7, its a waste" first im gonna laugh when he flicks the power switch his computer just dies, and i have to keep his machine on 24/7 for my access, i don't think a router draws anywhere near 300+ watts, and he also thinks that bill gates is a succsuful capitilist that has earned his way. stealing other peoples code is not earning shit, o well, theres hope, windoz me might fuck itself up bad enough /* thats how i converted on of my friends */ well, enough of my brain dead ramblings
