Computer users were happy........there computers worked......they was no such thing as viruses or adaware no need for all the antivirus or firewalls or adaware programs which clog todays computers...
What happened to computers was people. There weren't a whole slew of script kiddies and what not writing code in the mid 80's. Most people had yet to hear of the net, or even touch a computer.

I don't take my car back for a refund when the brakepads need to be replaced.

And how is it some older non microsoft computers run faster and do there work.......
While newer computers runing Microsoft OS is slow....crashes and there is thousends of viruses and nastys built for it ?
Today you have simpletons who don't tweak or delete thier temp files and delete a programs folder instead of uninstalling.

So they fially upgrade there "new" computer to run all this crap.....there pockets are geting lighter...just to do things a old non m$ machine would have done better only a lot simpler.
Well, simpler with a mac perhaps, but then thier pockets would be that much lighter.

What is with all this eye candy and super fast graphics ???????
If i want to game i would get a games console....
PCs have come a wrong way. You don't pop a V10 in a model T. That just won't sell. And PC's offer far more variety and interactivity than consoles. Also, PC game makers need no contract with the PC manufacurer.

u install all the darn servise packs u want.servise packs that should never be and antivirus and adaware and firewalls......because all you are doing is patching up somthing that should have worked in the first place and even at that when u reset youre silly machines it will run slower its bill gates way in saying u never win !!!!
And every other program made for mac or linux requires no patches ever. That's darn amazing.
