Sweden is probably the best country to live in, next to the Netherlands.

Antarctica

I know what you're thinking, it's a continent and not a country. Actually, I think that's a plus since there's no government present to disagree with. There's also no population there yet, so therefore plenty of space. The climate leaves a bit to be desired I know, but as soon as global warming warming kicks in it will be a lovely temperate zone.

So who's with me? Let's all go to Antarctica.

Antartica is devided in parts owned by countries.

So then plan is we all move to Antartica and hook up some P4 presscot chips running linux and play7 doom 3 to help warm it up.  And randomly burn gas so we can have a nice tropic environment

The misinformation about Prescott temps. is crazy.  40C if you know what you're doing, 45C if you're a dumbass.  Lower with a different heatsink.
The Athlon XP runs hotter than that.

Back on topic...I hear Norway is pretty nice.  :D

Good to hee you survived the hurricane, WMD.

Canada and Europe are great places, because we have no hurricanes over there.  ;)

Hurricanes aren't that bad.  Much easier to survive than avalanches or volcanic mudslides or extended periods of below freezing weather.

Plus, using computers to modify climate is unethical.  Norway and Sweden would be just fine.  Or Canada, as long as it is a place far enough from the US.

Thanks    The power was out for ~47 hours    and we lost the backyard fence (a piece of crap  :D ), but everyone is okay, as are all our electronics.

Apparently, it was worse further north in the state (I'm in the northern end of "south").

In my experience, a lot of central Florida is a dirty rascist shithole, filled with Klansmen and Confederates.  I hope that isn't you.

common misconception that the confederates were racist. i laugh everytime someone is offended by a confederate flag being flown. the confederate states of america were not formed for slavery, they were formed for far more important reasons (civil differences between north/south, economic differences, also disagreements between the north and south). also, the US, during the time of the civil war, did support slavery until the constitution was amended. after the confederate states joined the union again, they were not permitted to have slaves, but maryland and a few others were because they sideded with the US.

there, the american public eduation system isn't too bad after all :-p

(note: i have no affliation with the civil war/southern states in general)
