And countless others. In the event you haven't noticed, said large images appeared in troll threads. I've linked to images in non-troll threads, or kept the images small.

I think we should have a vote as to who thinks the lounge should be no-fun-allowed. But then, I guess that's a pointless idea, because THE MEMBERS DON'T MATTER

It was a thread commemorating the humorous holiday "Talk like a Pirate day". I thought some lighthearted fun was in order for a lighthearted and fun day. A nice forum game where we all act like pirates and plunder the forums, and each other. A couple of people got in on it and then some asshole (TB) came and whined about it.

I've got an idea... if a thread doesn't interest you... JUST SHUT UP. Don't look at it, just ignore it. Maybe there's some of us who actually have a sense of fucking humor. Don't ruin things for everybody just because you're a boring prude and like to whine about things. You don't see me going around saying that we should bin every thread that is "kinda dumb" or "silly" or "funny".

If every thread that had any sort of off-topic content had to be binned, then we might as well close the goddamn forums. Nobody would ever be able to discuss anything, because that could lead to "pointless and stupid" things like jokes or the subject could change. We should also stop letting people have signatures, because they have "pointless and stupid" sayings in them, and sometimes have pictures.

I think these ideas, combined with a new name, something like "Microsuckaslongasitdoesntbotherthefuckingwhiners" will complete our new image.

Goddamn I hate doing this, arguing with people that I respect and like, but it's hard to respect people who go around and just arbitrarily put down and bin things because they're "kinda dumb". God forbid anybody like senseless humor. I guess all those people that like the Marx Brothers or Laurel and Hardy or saturday morning cartoons are "stupid and gay".

Oh yeah, what about all the troll threads that still haven't been cleaned up? I think those need to go in the bin before my threads do.

There is too much trolling around here, but The Jimmy James is certainly not one of them.  It was talk like a pirate day, and he put a pirate talk thread up in the lounge.  I say leave it be.  No harm done.  And the pics are great.  I think Jimmy should make an art gallery or something.
