I know these thing are like gold dust but i need one.
I need a FREE (ie no cost whatsoever) webhost that can provide:

* CGI-BIN
* PHP
* >= 5Mb space

With regards to adverts, popups are OK, but banners are not acceptable. Preferably they won't be heavy enforcers of the TOS.

i support this crap:
MySQL 3.23
PHP 4
Perl 5.6.1
FTP access

on Linux Mandrake 8.2, 1.5MB connection (it's ok for pictures but would never cut it for hosting large files)

my ISP is trying to change my IP i think and i'm going on vacation in a few days......i would make a good host while i'm not camping but when i'm not here to monitor things i'm not too sure. what i don't know is how the heck you would chmod something on your computer then send it to me (if  perl files are not chmoded, they usualy don't work)

yo i got a question for you guys, have you ever tried to install a forum such as ikonboard or YaBB on a free host like tripod or angelfire? is it possible?

*edit*
are you asking to host the website for your MES clan thing? do you need a forum? i got a forum but i need people to post in it. i need more action damn it!!!

try nelie.org, they support email, and cgi, forums and so on, all for free, with no ads either, or so i believe.

I just got a free account with them, and it can be found at www.nelie.org/polytheism but it's really just a keeper page until i get the whole site together...

if you want to pay, it has to be hostcolor.com.

But try portland.co.uk (i think that's the address) it also comes with MySQL. And www.ionichost.com.
