The germans feared our wrath in the 30 year war 1618-1648. In Prag they hated us when we sacked the city and looted like madmen. In Poland we kept hunting the their king for six years before he was caught and killed. This was in the early 18th century and half the population of Poland either died or emigrated because of us. Yea, we are kind of barbaric.

Which we had something like elk day (or week or whatever) ... but with politicians instead of elks ... now that would rule  :D

We do have a "veggie army" running around letting loose minks and burning down butcheries. Mostly bewildered youths who do things like this.

In many rural areas, school is let out for the first week of it as well.
meat is good...Animal rights activists kill me...especially the ones who go so far as to not wear leather...in thier oil biproduct clothing or all natural cotton that was sewn in a sweat shop in Mexico by a 7 year old girl who doubles as a prostitute...talk about need for evaluating priorities...
If Elk Killing is bad...Then I would certainly love to see the faces of the activists on a ranch when they prepare cattle for slaughter...But a big mac is ok to most of them...
