hmmm, how about a post in the lounge. almost complety unrelated to computers, but to the car what you drive. and keep it mostly computer unrelated

i guess i will start off with my car.
it is a 92 corsica, its automatic, with a v6 when alot of them had 4 cylinder engines. when i first started driving it i had alot of negative feelings towards it. but after driving a few other vehicles, i have started to really like it the only real problems is that i have to feed it a quart of oil every month or so, when we first got it 5 years ago the cooling system fooked up and cost 700 or so to fix, and last but not lest, is some lose stuff. all in all, a very good first car. and the fact that it is made in AMERICA/*yeah, this place has problems, but hey, nothing is perfect*/. and not some japenese/*however you spell that place*/ rice rocket peice of shit make me happy with it.

I have a Ford Tempo 92. V4 with manual gears (cause Manual kicks ass. I can do a reverse J which burns rubber like a SOB.)

I bought it for 1400 US Dollars. Traveled 13-15 times back and forth, Chicago-NY with it. Slept for two weeks in it because I didnt have anywhere to sleep and in the morning went straight to work.

Its my Horse and I will NEVER EVER give it away.

What the hell was I gonna type here? Oh yea I own an
84 ford ranger 4X4 4 Cylinder 4 Speed. No A/C, no power ANYTHING, (well, the brakes have vacum assist I think) radio has piss poor reception, dinted as hell, needs tires, a leaf spring (One is broke) Only one emergency light works, (The "battery" light) The dipstick tube is not clamped to the engine so I use duct tape... Hmmm what else... Oh the tape deck and heat work great. oh one more thing only one windshield wiper work because the "arm" that connects
the other one is missing a clamp and Ford cant just give you the clamp. Oh no. The want to sell the whole
arm and other tidbits of mechanical wizardry for 70 dollars. Errr...
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

I love XP's car!

I have been partial to Camaro. My first car was a 1976 Camaro (that I bought nearly new) with a Muncie 21 4 speed and a 350 that I put a hot cam, manifold and carb on. It would do about 160mph in the long straight highways through the desert near Las Vegas. It would burn rubber all day long in 1st and 2nd and get a nice long chirp in 3rd and a little chirp in 4th.

I had that car for many years, then I bought a brand new 1996 Camaro (both of the years I had were not considered the "good" years but I still liked them). I also have an Intrepid with a hitch that I tow my dirt bike trailer with. It's been a pretty good car. A buddy of mine used to drag race a '68 Camaro and I wish I had that car, it was beautiful! Too bad it's the last year for the Camaro.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

Nice choice, but I'm a bit more basic than that. I have the Wrangler (dammit CJ's just get snapped up so damn fast - and I don't have the time, space and cash for restoration at the moment). Yes I brought the 'All The Plastic Bits' edition. Once the warranty runs out it's getting the full time and big fucking wheels. Theres a few mud bogs I want to hit. Until then it's playing on the same 4x4 tracks as those Explorer and Blazer driving SUV wimps use.

Was looking at a Corvette, but I would be dead by now.

Hey Fett, I like the way they blank out the plate, except in THE VERY FIRST PIC.
