spoons?
« on: 7 October 2003, 04:13 »
I got bored, decided to start a random conversation with a random person on my list. I just happened to pick one of our dear friends. I got bored again, and decided to turn things around a little. I thought it was intresting though...

quote:

(16:10:26) me: do you believe in spoons?
(16:10:35) MSCorpXP: excuse me?
(16:10:44) me: do you believe in spoons?
(16:10:56) me: you know, silverware
(16:10:56) MSCorpXP: i have no clue what you mean by that
(16:11:05) MSCorpXP: do i believe in using them?
(16:11:09) me: do you believe in them
(16:11:13) me: dont twist my words please
(16:11:23) MSCorpXP: lol i dont understands what u mean
(16:11:36) me: its all about the spoons, that's what this world is coming to
(16:11:55) MSCorpXP: thats like if i were to ask if you believe in forks
(16:12:18) me: how can you believe in forks and spoons at the same time? it's ubsurd
(16:12:27) me: and i think you are avoiding the question
(16:12:38) MSCorpXP: i dont understand the question
(16:12:52) MSCorpXP: do i belive what about spoons
(16:13:12) me: none specifically... so what word is it that confuses you -do- -you- -believe- -in- -spoons- ?
(16:13:18) me: perhaps i can help explain it
(16:13:29) MSCorpXP: no i understnad all the words
(16:13:46) MSCorpXP: but the phrase as a whole does not make specific sense
(16:14:09) me: i'm not sure how i can clarify it any more than the sentence does
(16:14:17) me: i'm serious though, do you?
(16:15:11) me: anyways... you use spoons right?
(16:15:38) MSCorpXP: ok how about first you answer me a question and then i will answer yours
(16:15:48) me: perhaps
(16:15:51) MSCorpXP: ok
(16:16:00) MSCorpXP: do you believe in pillows?
(16:16:04) me: yes
(16:16:07) MSCorpXP: lol okj
(16:16:12) MSCorpXP: then i believe in spoons
(16:16:53) me: how would you feel is some plastic spoon company started taking over the spoon market? and then turned them into forks and gradually just made forks... but, everyone used forks for their spoon needs not knowing that spoons still exist?
(16:17:21) MSCorpXP: lol i see where you're going with this
(16:17:44) me: i'm going somewhere with it? because honestly i was planning on just sitting here
(16:17:52) me: really, i wasn't going to write a book
(16:18:36) me: well, even if people did find forks were best for them... they're still only using plastic forks. plastic forks are so popular that metal forks aren't even known to the general public
(16:19:31) me: what would you use?
(16:19:58) MSCorpXP: dont know
(16:20:05) MSCorpXP: i'm a bit too busy to think right now
(16:20:11) MSCorpXP: but once again
(16:20:16) MSCorpXP: i know where youre going with this
(16:21:01) me: you probably do, but why do you not see it how it is? why when it is shown to you over and over again, and you have run out of arguments to it, do you still deny the situation?
(16:21:34) MSCorpXP: If you're referring to my trolling
(16:21:49) MSCorpXP: I never believed 99% of what i posted
(16:22:05) me: i know
(16:22:41) me: so you would use real spoons for your spoon needs th en?
(16:22:56) MSCorpXP: probablt
