anyway, victoria was settled by free colonists. It was Sydney (Port Jackson) which was the penal colony.

Maybe you Americans should read an atlas before traveling to Europe... hey, maybe I'll call the USA the capitol of Washington D.C. next time, and see how you feel about that?

that reminds me of something posted at destroycanada.com (bad site) it was a press release that had a server of why americans werent traveling to the UK as much as they used to. This report was done by some travel association in the UK. Most of the americans replied that there was no way in hell theyd go to the middle east.
