why don't you just change it to say 'windows pc' then?
this is the single most stupid thing that many mac users do. they say 'PC' then when people take their meaning to be exactly what they said, they get pissed off!
fucking say what you mean then, mac users!!!! if you mean 'Windows PC' then SAY it! if you can write a whole webpage, you can spare the extra seven taps on the keyboard to type that one extra word! how much would it slow you down to include that one extra descriptive word?
Let's say you type at 50 words per minute, and you use the phrase 'PC' six times in your article, that's less than TEN SECONDS you must spend to include the word 'windows' before the word 'PC'. PLUS: think of all the time you'll save digging yourself out of the shit every time somebody notifies you of this obvious dumb mistake! ALSO just think of the credibility you gain by not making a glaringly obvious error!
It would be like me saying that black rappers shoot people to death. many people would be right on top of me in an instant saying how wrong i was and that a lot of black rappers don't shoot people or carry weapons and anyway that most people who get shot to death don't get shot by rappers or even by blacks in many situations, and you know what? THEY'D BE DAMN RIGHT. but
some black rappers
have been known to shoot people to death, just like some white 'upstanding US citizens' have been known to shoot people to death (and one might suspect that this figure is substantially higher, but we won't go into that) and i really think it would be immature and self defeating of me to just say 'YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN YOU RETARD' in response to the outraged and legitimate claims of the people who said i misrepresented black rappers.
Mac users, i will not take you seriously until you start saying what you mean, and neither will a shitload of other people.
