i dont get it though. Cable faster than T1? Am i not reading something right in these results?

Yes, a full 24 channel T1 is limited to 1.544 Mbps. Some Cable download speeds are higher than that. But try and run a couple of thousand users over one Cable connection for internet access. A leased T1 will get you guaranteed bandwidth in both directions, very low latency, and very high reliability. But it will cost you. Cable is great for home use and maybe very small business use (if the Cable company in question even allows it) but one or more T1 lines or bigger is still by far the choice for a large business.

I got the same exact result as XP User. Maybe their connection is limited? Are we testing the tester?
