edit: BeOS is a flop means BeOS didn't end up working.

Does it display a message? Press space or enter when you get the splash screen, you should get a menu with a safe-mode option.

after being w/o my pop account for some time ( mattmadia@[ahem]microsoft.com ), i finally noticed "forums" on the homepage    

found the thread, emailed CommonSense and checked out the BeOS section.  

i'm also serious about nudging me for Q's about BeOS.   can't code so getting more users is the least i can do.
