hey guys
i know a little ASP (yes, that's the crap from MS) and no PHP.  so after moving to linux, and starting to use apache, i can't code in ASP anymore (and when i do, i have to switch to windows, like now).  so i was looking for a ASP module for apache(i don;t have 6-700 $ for chilli asp  :( ) and i found this [http://www.apache-asp.org].  i was wondering, is anyone has tried it.  it it any good?  i would really appreciate some feedback.
thanx

It should do the job but Apache won't recommend or sanction it's use.

If you can code A$P then you can code PHP it's not hard. If it were me I'd go down that route. Everything you can do with A$P  you can do with PHP.

I havent heard about it. In fact, i thought it was impossible to use asp on an apache server, Guess it makes sense. I have seen a lot of asp pages on a lot of sites, and surely, they are not all running IIS. Anyways. From what i understand, aps and php are pretty interchangable. At least, they were before asp.net. Who knows. Give it a shot and let us know how it works.

Have you played with php at all? If you havent jumped into asp that deep yet, maybe you could give php a shot, seeing as you alrady have the php modules for apache, and you dont have to go looking for them.
