Windows Secret Search Code
« on: 21 October 2002, 23:12 »
Has anyone heard about Windows secret search code?  My friend told me that there is a code you type in at the control panel (I think at the search option) that will allow you to see and search through all of the hidden files.  He said that Windows records every keystroke and you can look at it if you have the code.  He doesn't have it but he says his girlfriend does.  He said she read back an MSN mesenger conversation that he and I had.  Has anyone heard of this?  Does anyone know the code?

Very Funny... Linux does rule, but I also heard from a friend that there's some sort of secret code.

maybe there is, but i certainly don't think anybody here knows it.
not many people here would spend any time trying to find out i suspect, except maybe zombie3678426278, who will probably scoff at the very idea that M$ might have some secret bckdoor into their (he thinks) perfectly good operating system.

Try asking gooseberry clock, he'll probably post some nonsensical link, but if you're lucky, it might lead to a page that answers your question.
