Want a good book about C++? Well here it is.
(1/1)
Bazoukas:
C++ A Software Engineering Approach.
By VICTOR SHTERN.
Dont let the title fool you.
I was a TOTAL ignorant noob with c++ and this book teaches you C++ the right way even if you are a noob. This guy is just GOOD OLD SMART!
Avoid anything that has DEITEL and DEITEL on it.
They are just fucking morons. I shit you not.
KernelPanic:
I know, that is a good book. Deitel and Deitel aren't that bad.
TheQuirk:
I find Deitel and Deitel to be pretty good books.
And they better be, sporting a 75+ dollar price tag, damn it!
Bazoukas:
If i wanna read a book from an author/s that flash their excellent use of English just to impress, I will read a good classic novel.
If I wanna learn about C++ I will go with a book other than Deitel and Deitel.
They dont have any structure AT ALL.
They start talking about something on Ch3 for example and all of a sudden they say "But we will see that on chapter 14". Spare me the bullshit with that.
And the explenations they give for their code samples, is at best poor shit.
They know their shit, but knowing it and having the ability to realy teach its a whole diffferent story.
And the layout of the book. OMG. Its like having a bad LSD trip.
