How exactly are toplevel domains released, who does this and where do you contact them. Im interested in getting the toplevel .bob

I was actually discussing getting a .bob domain with someone a while ago. It would be quite difficult. My plan is to find an abandoned island, create my own country, then get it identified as a real country by the UN then i will be able to get my own toplevel domain.

Someone did try to make a country on an island. Not for the purpose of getting .bob, but they did.

It was off the coast of Africa, and the neighboring countries weren't too happy. They invaded his defenseless country and took the island.

There are also rules to claiming islands...

I did some research and found the Nation of Bob and here is the Bob that the people of the Nation of Bob pray to.

It isnt a United Nations recognized coutry. And i found a way to claim an island near canada i doubt that they would take it from me.
