Linuxcare bootable business card/cdrecord

(1/1)

RudeCat7:
Hey! I used the plain ol' command line to burn the linuxcare bootable business card cd, and I may never use a front end again, for ISOs!

So, the Linuxcare seems to be pretty cool, but I have two questions.(make that three)

1) Since you can't "write" to your FSTAB, how do you mount the hard drive to access files?

2) I was using a serial mouse, and it didn't work, and there is no xf86config, how do I make it work?

3) How do you keep people from mounting your hard drive? Bios password?

dumb noob questions........

Kintaro:
Use the Mount Command
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/where/you/want/to/mount
theres an example.

RudeCat7:
Never mind question #1------the linuxcare menu has an option to mount /dev/hd? on /mnt/host. Duhh.

But I still need/want to get the serial mouse working in black box.

And I still want to know how you defend against something like this.
