When/if i write a program i would write it for UNIX and a Windows port would just use cygwin! cygwin is handy as it allows me to compile UNIX apps in Windows! Not that i need to.
But hell, If you write in C++ for Windows write it with cygwin capabilitys, then just distribute it with CYGWIN.DLL! its better than MSVB60RUN.DLL or whatever the fuck it is!

Not long till i get cable, than i can get win 2k off my gateway and make way for some "Linux from scratch" im going to make a distro for my box, no gui no crap, just for a gateway, xinetd, httpd, ftpd, ssh, ect. Pure Server, then i think i will write an installer and distribute it it should be quite small!
