Approximately 2,5 GB are simply missing on my hd?

0,5 on C:\,
1 on D:\,
1 on E:\.
OS: Win 98

Each drive should have 1,9 GB, but when wieving the size of the folders, disk space is missing as stated above. Reason? Cure?

you can download software which will eliminate this problem from this site here.

by the way, did you look down the back of the sofa? usually i find that stuff which is missing often turns up there.

You shouldn't keep Windows 98 at all. You should delete it and forget about it.
