Programming Forum Name Change

I like the new name! Now I can go back to using the term "hacker" to refer to people to hack in to systems. I have always used the term "hacking" to refer to both programming and for breaking into systems even though they both are not related in the least. Sort of like the different meanings of the word "truck" (1. vehicle driven by people to haul stuff 2. set of wheels or wheel assembly under a train car). The only reason I was against using the term "hacker" to refer to breaking into systems was because that was not the intent of this forum. I think that the definitions I have always used before this forum are more widely used and known:

programmer - 1. Someone who is educated in programming and programs professionally.

hacker - 1. Programmer, usually as a hobby or non-professionally, 2. Person who gains access to systems that they do not own without authorization

cracker - 1. Someone who modifies proprietary software to change it's operation (bypassing authorization codes etc).

I applaud the name change. Hopefully there will be no confusion from this point on.

The name change is great. Hopefully there will be fewer posts about breaking into systems on this forum now.
