No need for an Alternative to PC.... The fritz chip could simply be emulated between the PC -- Internet, just make a device the emulates TCPA servers on your LAN Gateway, That doesnt send a single byte to TCP-A.

G4, Sparc, Alpha, X-Bitch , Playstation III (It should be out by then). Lets not forget that Linux may be able to run on a Fritz system, and will only require some special software.

Well in a quick reread of the thread gave me some time to decide this...

Im not going to upgrade, or buy x86 parts anymore... I have just given up Windows almost completely, and now PC. I will be getting a sparc or an eMac most likly but fuck the 86 shit. No more upgrades for me... Intel, Amd, can suck my balls!
