Copy Control sues software maker

The DVD Copy Control Association is now suing the company that makes the DVD-X-Copy software because it lets people make copies of movies.

The MPAA won its case against 321 Studios!!! The court ordered the company to immediately stop selling the software, but they will appeal.

Fuck this. This is outrageous.

I don't think a liberal court will make much of a difference.   Many liberals get a lot of backing (campaing contributions, etc.) from the MPAA.
