Joining MP3s without Reencoding

Just thought I'd share a useful utility I found called mp3wrap that compiles nicely in OS X, although it's a Linux app.  Previously I was using ReJoiner but hated its forced integration with iTunes.

can't you just do "cat secondfile.mp3 >> firstfile.mp3" or does that not work, for some reason?
