nah, i didn't. it was probably a hardware thing.

edit: BeOS is a flop means BeOS didn't end up working.

Does it display a message? Press space or enter when you get the splash screen, you should get a menu with a safe-mode option.

after being w/o my pop account for some time ( mattmadia@[ahem]microsoft.com ), i finally noticed "forums" on the homepage    

found the thread, emailed CommonSense and checked out the BeOS section.  

i'm also serious about nudging me for Q's about BeOS.   can't code so getting more users is the least i can do.

How does a 64 bit file system exactly make it better, seriously, what advantages does it have? There are extra bits to put extra load on machines that only have 32 bit data buses in most cases in the first place. I don't know anything about BeOS and this is just an honest little question, but I see to much hype with big numbers. Or did the Be Machines feature 64bit stuff in the way of hardware as well?
