The biggest hardware quirk of all: mouse management

I prefer windows 2000 and Windows 2003. I have to admit the latter is a warez copy, though. I figured I'd just try it out to see what it's like but I fell in love with it and don't want to replace it with legit system now :)
MrX:
welcome to warez world. who the hell is going to pay $470 for xp pro sp2 when all it is is piece of shit bloatware, and OMG
NAG_WARE !

There are ways to get cheap legit versions of software. Windows 2003 just happens to be a server version, even the OEM version is more expensive than XP :)
Also, where exactly do you have to pay $470 for XP pro? Checking the prices, that's about $100 more expensive than the local store. Also, if you upgrade from windows 98, you can get update version for even cheaper. And OEM prices are even cheaper than that. Since OEM versions are sold to anyone who buys internal component, some stores here sell OEM software to people who buy IDE cables ;)

yeah, but you still bought win98 in the first place so it makes up for the difference in the money you are going to waste.

I congratulate you for managing to find a ridiculously expensive store.
