The only thing I can figure is so he can say he had 57 operating systems installed. I suppose he might be a tester/reviewer which might also be a good reason. I like VMware though because I can have several up at the same time, and can test/develop internetworking between different OSs just as if they were installed on separate computers on my network. Multi booting sucks.

thats cool.
I couldnt get vmware to do anything in windows. It wouldnt do the network proeprly and it wouldnt run anything that needed directX. I only had the free trial so i couldnt really play around with it to get it to work.

Well, if you have enough money to buy enough hard drive to install 57 full distros of Linux, you probably have enough money for a copy of VMware.
