Oh well, I'm happy to say, it doesnt matter to me because I will never use it, or any of its successors for that matter. I remember waiting for every MS OS since NT4 to be released, and it makes me happy to know that it doesent matter whatsoever, I wouldent use it if it was free. :fu: Billi Hates

Calum:
well i just saw this on the BBC: apparently longhorn is more secure. on further reading of the article i see this:

--- Quote ---The preview showed a new desktop design, more visual ways to organise information, and faster searching.
--- End quote ---

hmm yes, i can see how new icons and different colours might make windows more secure right enough...

TB:
Oh no! Longhorn isn't up to expectations! Much of the touted new technology turned out to be vaporware! Microsoft really IS in the business of FUD! Microsoft's development team have been doing nothing but play with their pricks for the last 5 years!!!! I'm so disillusioned!!!!!eleventyone111

Good thing I downloaded the Mandrake 10.1 DVD ISO today. The migration will begin.........in due course.
