Divx Codecs?

Anyone know what the best divx codec download is (for windows)? There are lots of different divx video and audio codecs that people use to encode stuff, and I'm looking for some all-in-one download that contains the most common codecs. Any ideas? THanks.

WTF? You should know by now that I of all people do not tolerate windows support on this forum. But asking for a non-Microsoft program recommendation is not Windows support.

I suppose I can't ask about OpenOffice or Firefox either if it's about the Windows-based version?

It qualifies as windows support because your question is windows-specific, ie: the same question would have a different answer on any other OS.

ok, so next time somebody comes here to ask about what to replace Internet Explorer or Microsoft Office with, you're gonna bin it right? Because anyone asking for a replacement for IE or Office is 99% likely using Windows.

Can you compare asking for codecs really the same as asking for an IE or Office alternative?

umm..yes...because I'm trying to get away from using RealShittyPlayer and Microsoft MPEG-4 codecs to play my stuff.

Man...you guys are waaay too obsessed.

So can you use MS codecs on non-MS software how about Linux software?
