Perhaps I should introduce myself.
« on: 1 May 2005, 22:52 »
I'm Simon, I currently use an iBook, I'm 11 years old, and I hate Microsoft for the general reasons(Crappy, Insecure OS, Shoddy Buissness Practices, etc...). I'm not particularly Tech-savy, but I can generally understand the topic. Anyway, I hope I'll fit in here.

The members are getting younger and yougner all the time, which concerns me a bit as there's lots of swearing on this site. LOL :D

Oh well, fuck was one of the first words my father taught me, and we all learn to swear at some point so 11's a good enough age to start. :D

Follow the following rule and you're cool; remember it's ok to swear just as long as it's only in front of people who don't fucking care. :D

Anyway welcome to the forum Simon you seem more sensible than some of the older members here. :D  I hope you enjoy your self and learn a lot too, as I have.

Indeed, it's amazing how effective the internet is for people to communicate on the basis of competence rather than superficial characteristics. That's why I love foruns. :)

An eleven year old MS hater.

a poem by my computer, Macintosh Vigilante
Macintosh amends a damned around the requested typewriter. Macintosh urges a scarce design. Macintosh postulates an autobiography. Macintosh tolls the solo variant. Why does a winter audience delay macintosh? The maker tosses macintosh. Beneath female suffers a double scum. How will a rat cube the heavier cricket? Macintosh calls a method. Can macintosh nest opposite the headache? Macintosh ties the wrong fairy. When can macintosh stem the land gang? Female aborts underneath macintosh. Inside macintosh waffles female. Next to macintosh worries a well.

When I was 11 I didn't know tha Microsoft sucked, I thought it was my PC, the Acorns at school never went down with any viruses but my PC running MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 often did.

When I was 11, I thought Windows 95 was the coolest thing I ever saw. When I was 13, I even thought Windows 98 was cooler (dispite the advertisement you get when you install it).

I thought Windows 95 was cool when I first saw it, shortly after when we had problems at school with it I realised it wasn't so good. In a couple of years we upgraded to a P200 and with Windows 95, because I didn't know ay better. Now I have my 1800Mhz machine and I mostly use XP and Vector Linux every now and again.

When I was 11 was I was in the very early stages of puberty and we had sex education  classes at school, there were also lots of porno magazines lying around the bike sheds, that the boys all read, or looked at the pictures more like. :D

I didn't know MS sucked until I was about 9, when I realized how crappy Winduhs is, and at 10 I learned all the Anti-Trust stuff.
