No questions are stupid.

VMWare allows you to virually load operating systems while you're already in one!

There's a free trial on vmware.com.  If you buy it, it's $189.

It's really the best "emulator" I have seen to this date. I've tried it and have none problems. It acctully loaded Windows faster than Windows :P
