OpenOffice = StarOffice, which has been around just as long as MS Office.

Not that Sun ever cared much about it.

I didn't know that, but smy point still stands; Star/Open Office hasn'r had the same investment as MS Office and it's a very good piece of software especially when taking this into consideration.
