peace officer?

you are a real moron if you honestly think that a government organisation that shoots people in the head, then lies about it, tries to delay an investigation and even when the truth does come out they then claim (somehow) that they did nothing wrong.

and on top of that concerned letter writers write to newspapers saying the police acted in good faith etc. They would be whistling a different tune i think if it were their innocent son that had been murdered by these scum.

The argument I have heard over and over again - "he was looking suspicious, i would have done the same thing, we have to make sacrifices to protect ourselves from terrorists".  What can you possibly say to someone like this?  (aside from "I think you should seek professional help")

The truth is that the police are always jumpy, and the irrational fear of terrorists isn't helping.

Wonder if he'll get a jail term with the new information released.

If it was a white female british citizen we would but a male brazilian is a different story.

they're not considering pressing charges i don't think, from what i have heard, the very notion seems absurd to most. it's absolutely disgusting. at least the Brazilian government is getting involved, i wonder if the whole thing would have been a better cover up if the guy had been british, since the british government are the ones who passed the laws that allow the police to ride roughshod over our civil liberties in the first place.

Yeah, people should have balls and use a sword, not a gun.
