aha! thanks. I could of used this if I had of know this yesterday, to download directx 9c. Frick that, I downloaded it from guru 3d instead. turns out it could never install on 98, so i used dx8 .

ya, i saved it to my pc for future reference


BTW i have Direct X 9.0c installed on quite a few win98 machines

i fix and buiils PCs for relatives and most of them havent moved beyond win98 and they do not want to upgrade, there now satisified!!!!!!!

I get this cab file error. BTW- 98 is the best windows operating system. it is fast, and dangerous. (if you tweak it properly) just how I like it.
