Kintaro:
I was wondering about the meaning of the name Czech, what does it represent, what are its origins?
Jenda:
The Legend says that Forefather (for lack of a better word) "Čech" came to the land with his family, or clan, in the eighth century (AD), effectively establishing the Czech nation, for Czech is the modern English version of "Čech", which still means "a Czech" (in Czech). The "Č" is pronounced "ch" as in "church", and the "ch" in "Čech" is similar to the english "h", but even more similar to the German "ch" (as in "Munchen" = Munich).

The German "ch" sounds different from the English one.
Jenda:
The english "h" is the same thing as the German "ch", except that it's voiced. (Same difference as in "cee"-"zee" "tee"-"dee" "pee"-"bee" (or the english "sh" vs. french "j")

--- Quote from: toadlife ---We've done this to one of the executives at work before.....
1) Take screenshot of desktop (print screen button + paint) and save it
2) Move all (movable) icons on desktop to a temp folder
3) Tweak windows so that it doesn't display any special icons (ie. Internu Exploder, My Docs, etc.)
4) Set the background as the screeshot you took.
5) Laugh as the (l)user tries to click on his/her "icons".
--- End quote ---
Done that. Try making a "porn" folder on the desktop, then putting that on the screenshot. They always try and delete it...
