I don't particularly mind the puck mouse. I have a Logitech mouse, and when I use it I move it with my fingers without actually grasping the mouse. It's less tiresome for the wrist.

But then, maybe that's why I now use a trackball.

I hear about a lot of people liking the new mouse, but being put off by the lack of bluetooth. Apple would be crazy not to release a wireless version sometime soon.

Good job Apple, you fucked up another mouse. It doesn't matter, the rabid fans will buy it as long as it has a white plastic shell and the Apple logo on it.

I messed with one today... the main buttons are... um... wierd? You can't really feel them. The two side buttons are an annoyance, because of the strange low-acceleration of Apple mice and OS X, you have to very often pick up your mouse and move it. It's especially bad when dragging, and you need to keep the button down, but there's no place to hold now that there's side-buttons. I guess they intend for you to us click-lock?

I dunno. Seems like just a regular 2-button scroll mouse might have been a better starting point.
