If you read the article, it says that they just secured orders through 2008.  It doesn't mean they'll keep making machines that way...they could be for contracts and warranty replacements.

Possibly, however I think certain die hard Apple fans would prefer to pay extra for a PowerPC system.

Well, call me crazy, but I'd rather have a G4 than a Celeron any day of the week and twice on Tuesdays.

Intel has made a business of scamming customers with high processor rates and low bus rates, and crippled processors that use math emulation.  I don't want such shit on my Mac.

i am running on a 2GHz Hypertransport link. Even the AMD seprons destry the celerons in the benchmarks
