So Election day in Canada's coming. If you could vote, what party would pick?

I have no idea who any of those parties are, or what they stand for.  I'm all about separatism, though.  I think the US could use some.

But any party I would support would have to have a strong environmental platform.

Going with the conservatives...
Operating System Advocacy. I've given up on the Microsuck project, as well as any of the minisite spinoffs. You can still view the new beta site, though!

Personally, I would support the Canada Action Party. I oppose globalisation and the way both the Liberals and the Conservatives are selling us to foreign interests and corporations through treaties and unaccountable supranational courts and NGOs like Trilateral Commission.

Otherwise I would choose NDP. I don't have a clear stance on Quebec sovereignty, but the Bloc supports globalisation and common currency, which would defeat the whole point of sovereignty in the long run.  Which is a shame really, because Duceppe is very charismatic. Otherwise, I will take either a sovereign Canada or a sovereign Quebec, whichever best represents my interests.

Given the Conservatives' pandering to the Bushist neocons, that party is obviously a no-no.
