Happy New Year
« on: 1 January 2006, 05:31 »
It's been 2006 for 6:30 hours here already.

Happy new year everyone.

Use this thread to brag about how much beer you downed or how mundane your night was.

I spent mine was family, so it wasn't very exciting.

It's January 1st 2006, 17:22 here now. Well, Happy New Year everyone! I wrote a letter to Santa and asked him to drop a 20-megaton nuke in Gates's chimney. Wonder if he got my letter?

As for me, I spent a really good time first with my family (23:00 - 1:00), then with my friends at a VIP lounge in the casino (1:00 - 7:30) and then went home and woke up 30 minutes ago.

PS I don't drink beer. How's that?

i hated 2005. everythign went wrong so now i;m hoping this year will be better.
Windows XP Service Pack 2. Because we couldn't be arsed the first time.

Windows 98 Second Edition. Look, now you don't need that bloody CD to install new hardware.

Windows Vista. Even your computer knows you have a small penis.

Windows Blackcomb. We are planning the OS after Vista, which is allready a year late.

Windows ME, the Marmite Operating System.

XP Mobile. Take your errors with you.

Well, yes - not much time for anything xcept work&study. I hope to get some free time this year, though.

Got back from a funeral at about 7pm on New Years Eve.  Had some dinner, watched about half of "Ghost in the Shell", and went to bed.(1)

(1)- unfortunately had to spend the night before in a hotel room with my parents, who both snore like lawnmowers - I was a rather sleep-deprived pallbearer.

2005 was a great year here, got my first Mac, first linux box, and I'm going to start running FreeBSD this year. I only wish I knew about all this stuff a while ago...
