I'm using a perl based blogging system right now, and it's buggy as hell. I can't even add content it's so bad. Does anyone here know, off-hand, of a half-way decent blogging system that uses perl?
I host it on my home BSD box, and want it to use perl because don't want to have to install a bunch of damn addons for apache. The box is a PPro 200, so installing software takes ages (compiling).

Can't you get a binary package for FreeBSD, of like PHP, for example?

I've never been able to get on to toadlife.net, is it only up sometimes or what...?

Yes, but if that version has a vulnerability, I will have to update it by re-compiling, and as I mentioned, the box is a Pentium Pro 200. Compiling stuff takes forever on it. IME, runing a site that uses php typically requires freqnent updates, as vulnerabilities in PHP (and php software) are found frequently.

Ooops! I just remembered that I unplugged my router last night and forgot to plug it back in. :p It's normally up all the time.

Well, I said to heck with it and moved the domain to my webhost (http://dathorn.com) and installed plog.
