Can some one find in google earth and/or gmaps
where [size=-1]Zefram Cochrane made first contact w/ the volcans ?

-
try http://www.googlesightseeing.com/
-
I bet you can find it here (http://scifi.about.com/od/backgroundinfo/)
-
anyway, this is irrelevant since everybody knows that the first vulcan landing was actually in carbon creek, Pennsylvania in the fifties.
-
yup
alians invented ... uh ... what is it called in english that she gave them ?
-
velcro.
and to answer the first question (about second contact) it was in Bozeman, Montana. This was surprisingly difficult to find out considering how many sites there are that mention Zefram Cochrane and Montana, but not the specific town where first contact took place.

i can't believe nobody's replied after me! do people really shun star trek here? i thought this was supposed to be a forum full of geeks? :-D
-
Star Trek is way too philosophical ... and too little action. Put in more action and less philosophy and I might watch it without falling asleep 2 min into it ...
-
i see! no wonder it's my favourite sci fi show.
-
yup!
StarTreck rules !

It was Bozeman, Montana and it was First contact, since Enterprise sucks balls, and the damn film was called FIRST CONTACT, which automatically makes shitty ass Enterprise a lying fuck.
Enterprise sux.
