Title: System Volume Information??

Anybody know what this directory is in the root of XP?  XP flat out won't let you into that directory through the command prompt, boot disk, etc.

Just curious if anyone knows, I don't wanna have to pull the hard drive out and put it into another computer to find out  (http://smile.gif)

Nevermind, I found a site with info... it's the folder that keeps the system restore information.  My bad  (http://tongue.gif)

It's best to shud it down, you will have 1 GB extra on your HD.

No wait, it's best not to use it at all!
