US presidential contender Barack Obama's African half-brother says he is "ashamed" of his family ties because he lives as an impoverished recluse in a Kenyan shantytown.
The Italian edition of Vanity Fair says it tracked down George Hussein Onyango Obama living in poverty in a rundown shack in the violent town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.
George Obama, 26, is the youngest of the presidential candidate's seven half-brothers and half-sisters.
He told the magazine: "No one knows who I am."
He said he was embarrassed that he lived "on less than a dollar a month" and never mentioned his world-famous half-brother.
Lovely family, just lovely. His "change" rhetoric won't just be empty in the Oval office, it's already empty or the man might have changed something in this sorry situation.

I won't vote for Obama, but I doubt he knows all his family. His father split when he was two and his mother is dead.
His father is more to blame, for spreading seed around and not staying to raise his children.

If you think having a half-black president is going to make America start giving a shit about Africa, you're quite deluded. Oil, diamonds, and big-game hunting, the rest can go fuck itself. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

African Union will probably peg their new currency to US Dollar which will make it a more stable market for US investors. It became unstable courtesy of Welfare Statism and other causes of moving away from the Gold Standard.

The US Dollar? Ha, that's a good one.
Did you notice that the Euro is replacing the US Dollar as a stable currency in most 3rd world countries?
A few relatives recently went to India, converted their Euros into US Dollars, and needed to convert them back to Euros, because that is what they use there now.

Doesn't surprise me at all, I've heard similar things. Still, most pegged currencies are pegged to the USD. I guess this might change soon though. Either way, I don't understand the currency system well enough yet but I've heard some good free market arguments against pegging.
One recent idea I've heard come out of libertarian circles is having currency tied to commodities like real estate, someone never told them currency was tied to gold just fine for a very long time.

His brother says he is satisfied with his life.

"Because he wants to be [president]," he said. "I think in life, what you want is what you are supposed to get."
Gas this faggot.

Well, that'd certainly be in keeping with the "Change" motif... LOL

I want a nuke to blow up my brothers, no I need a nuke to blow up my brothers.
To each according to his need, from each according to his ability.
