Title: Last Chance, Final Notice
Post by: worker201 on 7 October 2008, 00:32
This is your final opportunity to open your own computer museum. I have the following 3 boxed products available:

- Borland Turbo C++ v3.0 for DOS
- Suse Linux Professional 8.2
- Corel Linux featuring Word Perfect (does not include inflatable penguin)

Pay shipping costs and they're yours.  Each product is OEM complete, except as noted.  If nobody wants these, I'm just going to throw them in the garbage, because I don't have space to keep them.

PM or reply if you are interested.

What about eBay?

Inflatable penguin?

Lol, that's put me off, I might've bought it if it came with an inflatable penguin. LOL

You mean like a place where you can donate things?  I've talked to Goodwill, and they don't accept software.  Which sorta makes sense, considering that they don't know what's on those disks.

Was it something like this?

I would have taken that mostly for the penguin

I bought it used, so it never had the inflatable penguin.  But I guess that's it.

I think I paid $20 for it, and it was worth it, because I was able to extract the Corel Office Suite out of it and use it with both Suse and Slackware.  Word Perfect and Quattro, at that time, were hands down the best office programs in the industry.  Actually, haven't seen a spreadsheet yet that is as cool as Quattro, which is sad because that was like 10 years ago.
