Sure, just download and install this (http://www.redhat.com/). Or if you don't want to do that you can download and put this (http://www.knoppix.com) on a CD and boot it on your school's computer.

But the Knoppix CD won't install anything on the hard drive. You just boot it from the CD, when you want to go back to win just pull the CD out and reboot.

hmmmm... i think i might just do that maybe ill convince the admin that M$ really does suck
thanks for the idea but still it would be nice to have a good theme for when i have to actually do something in that class.
thanks for the idea!!

There is only problem with trying to make Win look like Linux. What the heck does Linux look like? I'll bet that of all of the poeple on this forum that use Linux, none of them look the same. The thing about Linux is you can make it look like whatever you want, and everyone has different preferences. You can use Gnome which has it's own set of themes. You can use KDE, which has it's own set of themes. You can use Enlightenment which has it's own set of themes, you can use Xfce which has it's own set of themes, you can use FVWM which has it's own set of themes. And so on. And of course you can create your own theme in any of those windowing environments if you don't like the selection. So again, what does Linux look like?

WindowBlinds is your best bet. check out www.wincustomize.com (http://www.wincustomize.com) for skins. My PC looked like a OS X for a week, but it slowed it down quite a bit. :(
